About the measurement
We report sloped square footage with a typical accuracy of ±10-15% for the polygon area. Final pitch, ridge, hip, and valley measurements are included for paid EstimatorPRO accounts. Roof footprints from satellite cannot detect things on the ground (small additions, very recent construction, dormers hidden by trees) — for those, a physical inspection is still required.
