Why most roofing software fails on storm work
Lead widgets capture homeowner info. Generic CRMs track jobs. Neither produces a report an adjuster will accept. You end up doing the storm-specific work in spreadsheets, Xactimate trials, or by hand — and your supplements get rejected because the documentation doesn't match the loss.
EstimatorPRO is the opposite: built around the storm-restoration workflow first, with the same business OS bolted on. Hail data, photos, line items, supplements, and signed contracts all live in the same record — so the report you submit and the file you keep are the same file.
What's actually built for storm work
Each of these is in the platform today — not on a roadmap, not behind a paywall, not an integration you have to wire up.
Storm History at Address Entry
Type the address — EstimatorPRO calls Tomorrow.io and shows the last 3 hail events with date, hail size, and distance. Adjuster has the same data. Now you do too.
RCV / ACV / O&P Calculator
Replacement Cost Value, Actual Cash Value, depreciation schedule, and overhead & profit (10/10) calculated per claim. Carrier-ready math.
Auto-Prefill Insurance Module
Hail event found? Date of loss, cause of loss (Hail), and damage notes auto-fill into the Insurance page. Three-click setup becomes zero clicks.
AI Damage Narratives
Describe the damage in plain English. AI writes the carrier-ready narrative paragraph for the claim. Edit and submit.
Photo Documentation Per Job
Before / inspection / during / after photos auto-organized by job. Geotagged. Ready to attach to the claim or supplement.
Supplements + Line Items
Track every supplement separately. Line-item pricing for code upgrades, decking, ice & water, drip edge, ventilation — the items adjusters skip on the first pass.
Multi-Structure Detection
Storms hit the whole property. Satellite InstaMeasure detects house, garage, shed, and outbuildings as separate structures — check off what's in scope per claim.
Door-to-Door Contracts
Sign the contract on the homeowner's phone before you leave the porch. Sales reps, not just office staff, can close a job in field mode.
Works Offline on the Roof
PWA architecture. Measurements, photos, notes captured on the roof queue locally and sync when you're back in signal.
The 7-step storm restoration workflow
Storm work tooling, side by side

Storm restoration questions
When you type an address into the Satellite Measure or Job page, EstimatorPRO calls the Tomorrow.io weather API and surfaces the last 3 hail events at that location — date, hail size in inches, distance from the property. The Insurance module then auto-prefills date of loss and cause from the most recent event so you don't re-enter it.
The reports include RCV, ACV, depreciation schedule, overhead and profit (10/10), line-item pricing, and damage photos. They follow the standard format adjusters expect. Final acceptance always depends on the carrier and the specific claim — but the math, format, and supporting documentation are all there.
For most residential storm restoration work, yes. EstimatorPRO has line items, RCV/ACV math, depreciation, and O&P calculations. For complex commercial losses some adjusters still require Xactimate output, in which case EstimatorPRO acts as your CRM, photo system, and supplement tracker around it.
Yes. EstimatorPRO is a Progressive Web App — measurements, photos, and notes captured on the roof are queued locally and sync to the cloud when you have signal again. No data lost when you're up a 12/12 in the middle of nowhere.
Flat $49.95/month, no per-market or per-user charge. A contractor working 53 markets pays the same as one working a single zip code. Compare that to lead-widget platforms that charge per-market licensing plus per-credit measurement fees.
Yes — the Hail History Lookup and Insurance RCV Estimator are free, no signup. They'll give you a feel for the data the platform pulls and the math it runs.

EstimatorPRO is software for roofing contractors and is not an insurance carrier, public adjuster, or law firm. RCV/ACV calculations, depreciation schedules, and damage narratives are estimates — final claim outcomes depend on your insurance carrier, policy terms, and applicable state law. Always verify documentation requirements with the carrier before submission.
